I created this perfect bachelor pad for my client. From our initial conversations with Jas it was clear that he was open minded and had no preconceptions on how the kitchen should look. The main focus was opening up the space and having somewhere to work.

Knocking through into the dining room, that he used occasionally and wrapping an island around the
wall was the perfect solution. He went from using the dining room very occasionally to utilising the space all of the time. I used brick slips and large copper floor tiles against the charcoal grey kitchen which added vibrancy and warmth to the design. Jas had several pieces of colourful artwork by Brian Pollard that he wanted to display in the kitchen and I think they make the kitchen pop! It’s the perfect balance.
Jas was the ideal client, he had a strict budget but allowed me to be creative with the space. Now not only has this improved his lifestyle immensely I also maximised his biggest asset.
