A little about me

As a native Devonian my fascination with the world of interiors and all things creative started from an early age. My career started in London, freelancing for the BBC Good Homes mag, creating content and styling houses for photo shoots. On returning to the South West coast, I ended up studying at the Interior Design Institute whilst bringing up two gorgeous girls. This has allowed me to start my own business and now, not only do I get to design my clients spaces, I get to design my own life too.

On any given day off you may find me rummaging around old junk shops and vintage fairs to find that perfect piece. I currently live in Plymouth with my two children and dog, Pearl.

I seek to build strong and meaningful relationships with my clients and maintain open and ongoing communication with them throughout the design process. By understanding my clients’ preferences, I can create interiors that are tailored to their individual needs and lifestyles. I view each project as an opportunity to start a new relationship, and I take great pride in the lasting connections that I build with my clients and the connections that I want them to make with their home.

My style is not about following the latest trends but about mindful design. I take inspiration from nature, cultural and artistic influences to create unique and timeless designs. I believe that great design doesn’t have to come at the expense of the environment and I strive to incorporate sustainable elements wherever possible.

I believe that creating interiors has the potential to emotionally impact my clients. Therefore, I am attentive to the way I incorporate special elements that will be meaningful to the clients during the design process. Incorporating vintage pieces into a modern design can create a sense of history and depth that truly sets a space apart. My aim is to create spaces that my clients will cherish and hold a special meaning for them.

5 – Spirit

The spirit of my interior design business means that my designs are more than just superficial decor. I believe that interiors should be reflective of the client’s personality. They should be spaces that make them feel happy, comfortable and at peace. My design aesthetic reflects the spirit of the client by understanding their vision, incorporating pieces they already love, and creating spaces that inspire their everyday life. I want my clients to feel a connection to their living spaces, and that’s why I put their soul into every design I create.
